No particular reason to post this message...
I've practically left mIRC now, but I have just taken a look at the mIRC homepage and some of the messages on the message board and I remembered what a lovely place mIRC WAS.
But sadly, I won't be comin back so this is my goodbye

i might not use mirc any more as well as i keep getting k/lined and am fed up of it they dont half have some idiotic admins on mirc

mIRC has nothing to do with an admin's ability to show off power on a network. Mirc just connects tot he network, not take it over.

The choice is yours to make whether you decide to use mIRC or not. However, if you keep getting K-Lined for no apparent reason and there is no justification to show that you are the problem, you should inquire with the networks abuse committee. If you keep getting K-Lined, you should find another place to chat rather than sticking around to put up with it if nobody does anything to help you.

This is only a suggestion and the worse thing that could happen is nobody helping you with your problem. However some networks require that you have proof to back up your story. Although personally in my opinion there is no sucth thing concrete proof on IRC to show someone is doing wrong, majority of the time the proof is a users chatting logs and those can be "altered" to support their story. So with that being said you are now left with three options:

-Talk to the network abuse committe
-Find another place to chat
-Do as you said and not chat

mIRC is software used to connect to any of many different networks. Those networks have admins who make kline decisions. mIRC has nothing to do with any network. YOU choose what network to connect to with mIRC and if you have a problem with the admins of any network you need to contact them. (altho i would suggest not starting off your conversation by calling them idiots)
