I used to be able to use mirc with no problems, but now when I connect to a server it crashes as soon as I completely connect. The error is 0xc0000005 on ws2_32.dll.

I'm on a DSL with a zyxel 643 as the router, a linux box as my gateway/firewall (same as always). The only new thing is that there's a dlink 614 wireless router on there too - but it's not actually inbetween the zyxel and my linux box. It should only be acting as a switch and not affecting my computers which don't have to send packets through it to get to the net.. right?

Any help would be useful.

AppName: mirc.exe AppVer: 6.0.3.0 ModName: ws2_32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.0 Offset: 00008d72

Update: I found my original post listed under Bugs..
Sorry if Help was the wrong place to post.

Providing the version of windows you use would definately help the coders find the problem quicker.

I fixed the same problem you have!!

I saw the attached post and tried something mentioned there...
Options>Local Info> unchecked both boxes under "on connect, always get:"
Then I could connect without the error.. I then re-checked both boxes and it still works fine!!

I can do that as much as I want without it helping me.. Either when I try to connect with or without the find IP/HOST... IT still crashes.

I also have a ZyXEL router... ADSL. I'm starting to believe it's caused by the NAT of this router, cuz I can't remember having these problems before.. But I also have the latest firmware ON it.
