I have my own channel on Quakenet. I have Q in my channel. My channel is called #Trinity (please don't join it). But sometimes it changes to #trinity (without a upper-case). And after a few day it changes to #Trinity again, but when I come online then, I see that Q joins the channel (so he has been away). Can anybody tell me how to prevent this?

You can not prevent it from happening, nor can you easily change it back afterwards. Fortunately it's not a big deal.

Unless Quakenet is different, what usually happens is that if no one is in a channel and someone joins it, the channel name's capitalization will match whatever it is when the person joins the channel. So, if it's empty and someone joins it as #trinity, then that's how it will be until it's empty again. Once it is empty again, whoever is the next to join it will determine how it's capitalized based on how they join the channel.
