Riamus2 Hoopy frood R Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 8,061 MA, USA	Backgrounds like that aren't bad, but they make viewing text much more difficult because of the many different colors. I've only once used a background inside the channel/query/status/etc windows and it was mostly a black background with a dark blue design in the center. It made it very easy to read any color text (other than black and in some cases dark blue) while still having a background.
