I am running mIRC on a private network without access to the Internet. How do I register mIRC without access to the Internet? It seems to want to phone home to verify the registration. Any help would be welcomed.

Any version of mIRC after 6.21 requires a internet connection.

I believe that if you simply register mIRC with your license key on a computer connected to the internet and then move your mIRC installation to the private network, it'll work fine.
You will probably have to install mIRC as a portable application though, to prevent the license key from ending up in the Windows registry and instead have it written to mirc.ini

Can someone back me up or contradict me on this?

I think you would also have to copy the REG key mIRC makes when it is registered.

This is for Windows XP, not sure about other versions of Windows
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\mIRC

This is why I added the bit about installing mIRC as a portable application. mIRC will not use the registry then.
