Forums Connection Issues Unable to connect through proxy

I trying to connect through proxy on mirc and i cant i always get this msg and i dont know what i not doing right

Firewall: Unable to connect to firewall or Firewall: Closed connection

in my firewall setting i insert
firewall support : both
protocol : proxy if its with ending :80 and 1080 if its ending with :1080
host name : i added my privte proxy
port : as i said before its depending on what i insert on the protocol.
