Forums Connection Issues why em i banned?

"closed link: 0.0.0.0 (rude niks and network disruptions. this ISP segment is banned for 30 days (z)(2003/4/22 14.58))"

to Whom it may concern;
I hope this can be fix. there is NO REASON why i should be band. im a 26 year old who has no intentions of being rude with my nick name nor acting inappropriate on the chat forum. please repsound back ASAP.
i strongly feel that this is an injustice against me

u need to email the admin of the network your trying to connect to ... mirc does not control any networks or have anything to do with your ban

the ban may not be specifically against you, but because they felt the need to set a wider ban to control the problem, you are also being effected.

Go to the website for the network involved to see if you can find an email addy to contact about this, they may even have a forum there where you could ask

If you can't email them, try posting here.

That sort of ban happens either when people avoid less forceful bans in some way or when there are DDoS attacks from a given IP range.

Always remember something though, IRC is a privilege and bans are placed at the discretion of the owners of the server or their representatives. Bans like this are most often placed to protect other users or the physical infrastructure and as such can be quite legitimate.
