This is what it looks like in 6.03:


I think the later one is drop dead ugly. How can I change it to look like version five's? I wish to have black "text" in the icon and lose the bold text in the active channel's name.

alt + o => Display : here u can change a few of the things u wanna change.

I can't find anything of use on Options/Display. That options menu looks just the same as in version five.

Look at: mIRC Options >> Display >> Options >> Visual Styles...

Simply check the boxes for 'Light switchbar font' and 'Switchbar buttons'.

I'm sorry, but that does none of the things I asked for.

I said, I wanted black text-fuzz in the status windows' icon instead of red, and lose the bold in the active channel's name.

From Starbucks... Look at: mIRC Options >> Display >> Options >> Visual Styles... Simply check the boxes for 'Light switchbar font' and 'Switchbar buttons'.

This gets rid of the bold in the active window button.

No go with the icon colour, that was changed when the buttons were upgraded to the XP theme.

Heh, it does. I didn't get it to make a difference the first time I tried, but now I get rid of the bold by checking Light....

Oh well, thank you guys!

I guess I'll get used to the ugly red text icons.
