Guys please help me.. please.. how do i join a channel when every time i try to join a channel MIRC will say.. "Channels locked in options dialog".. HOW TO FIX THIS?? PLSS TEACH MEE.. I CANT JOIN ANY CHANNEL.. T_T.. SOB.. PLEASE GUYS.. please..
1) No need to use all caps. We respond just as quickly (if not faster) to politely worded requests, as we do to yelling (which is what using all caps is the equivalent of). 2) Open your copy of mIRC 3) Press Alt+O (that O not 0 (zero)) to open the Options Dialog 4) Go to the bottom of the list where it says Other 4a) If there is a + beside that, click the + 5) Select Lock 6) On the right hand side of the screen, there is a check box marked Limit channels to: 6a) Under that, there is a drop down box which will contain a list of channels. 7) Choose betwen one of the following 7a) Uncheck the Check box, so that you can join any channel 7b) Add the channel to that list. 8) Click OK
hi there russel.. sorry if i offended you.. ^^.. about the lock thing.. my mirc needs a password to unlock(it cant be changed).. i dont know why.. btw, im not registered.. just want to use it for free ^^..
