I didn't see this mentioned in versions.txt so i don't know if it's intended behaviour. Starting in 6.33, when you press Ctrl-F in the remotes script editor, it now fills in as the 'search string' whatever string you happen to be highlighting. Even if you you aren't highlighting any text, it will fill in the word your cursor is touching, even if it's a semi-colon. However, if you escape out of that window and then press F3, it does a 'find next' using whatever the prior string in that window was, forgetting the new string it popped into the window. This makes it hard to search for a slightly edited variation of the prior string.

If this is intended to be a help, we can already highlight a word and use Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V to make it the search string.

In the options menu in the script editor, click/uncheck "Find selection"

Ah thanks, in all the upgrades and fresh installs i've done from 6.16 onward, 6.33 was the first time the option got switched on. Even though i now know what to look for, i searched for "find selection" and couldn't find mention of this menu option in mirc help.
