Hello,

First of all, I'd like to stress out that I am grateful for mIRC and what you have done. I've used it for many years now, and I am proud to call myself an IRC addict.

Lets get down to business.

When I try to connect to a server (irc.quakenet.org), I get G-lined because it says I'm infected with a trojan. I've used 3 different virus-scanners (norman, AVG and northon) and I have no trojans.
The only thing that comes to mind, is vista.

Anyone who can help me out here?

I somehow fixed it (I don't know how though). Sorry for taking your time!

It had nothing to do with you particularly, they banned an IP range that just happened to effect you. It was fixed because the g-line was temporary and probably only lasted a couple of hours.

It's funny that I have no problems running mIRC in Vista. It comes down to setting things up correctly and understanding how Vista works. I don't even disable UAC. And here I was complaining about Vista before I tried it and now I support it even though it does have its share of problems. smile

And XP doesn't?

I think people are just afraid of change.
