Forums mIRC Help Cannot install Mirc 6.3

I have downloaded Mirc 6.3 several times but when I try to install it I am told the file is corrupt and to try downloading it again. Any suggestions? I use Windows 98.

i'd also get rid of the old ones you already tried to install. Get a fresh copy as Poppy said, and make sure you dont have anything else running (including your anitvirus program) when you do the install.

Thanks for the replies but, unfortunately, still getting the same error message.

i cant install mirc either. i can open it and get it to start installing but when it finished with the little green line installing the .exe it just crashes at the end. any1 help?

sounds like you are saying it hangs up at the point where its installing urls.ini? check this thread

did you uninstall the old one thru control panel if it shows up?
delete the old files?
