You probably don't want to delete them so much as simply not load them:
alt-o -> irc -> logging -> [ ] reload logs
This is not on by default, so you probably changed that sometime before.
to delete logs in addition to not loading them, just ..delete them. type //run $logdir and do what you need to do.
