Anyone know any methods of accessing IRC on a PSP?

Well, thanks to the magic of the internet (Google and the Internet Archive.) I found a very bad PHP IRC client. (Which I've dumped here.)

But, the only thing I can't really fix (I don't really know PHP.) is the lag it has, and how to make the text appear on demand. (As the receive buffer only seems to fill up when I terminate the socket.)

Any help? frown

why not use a webbased irc client through the psp's browser.

like pjirc for example.

PSP doesn't support Java, and the text input box doesn't show on CGI:IRC for some reason.

If you have a *fairly recent* firmware version, use a flash client.

PSP supports javascript & flash.
