In Picture Windows, is there an easier way to draw things than clearing it and drawing it or creating a box over it?

Erm, not to sound mean, but how else would you do it? You have a graphic, and you need to get rid of it to draw another. Its either clear the screen, draw a box over it or make every pixel that isn't the background color into the background color.

In short, sorry no.

Well he might be hoping that picwins support layering so that you can draw things on separate layers and deal with them individually. Unfortunately mIRC's picwins don't support that (although it has been suggested a few times in the past).

One workaround is to use additional frameless hidden windows and treat them like layers. To be honest I've never tried it but in theory it could work out a lot more efficient if the picwin uses lots of separate components stacked on each other.

Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and stupid comments are intentional.

The likely redraw the entire window with every move. Try downloading one of those scripts and figuring out how they do it.

Wow... you should write a book. The way you explain things makes so much sense.
