Ok, this may be a setting.. im not sure. If it is, i apologize heh.

I have a bit of a problem. I am often on the same channel, talking with the same people, across multiple networks. Not just servers for a single network, multiple networks. Now i like the past chat feature, its fun to see where you left off. But mIRC's past chat feature seems to be dumb as a rock. If i am in #myChannel on 'WhateverNetwork', it will display that past chat if i disconnect from that network and go to 'SomeotherNetwork'#myChannel. It becomes even more annoying if i am on all of these networks at the same time. Now i haven't quite figured out all of when it does this, because it seems to work right sometimes, but most of the time i can have a PM to 'SomePerson' going on on NetworkA, then go to NetworkB and open a PM with that same 'SomePerson', and it shows the past chats.

mIRC may be trying to help me, but if that 'SomePerson' nickname was two different people it would be confusing. Myself personally, its a bot testing issue, and it displaying my old tests from the wrong network cause me a headache.

Hope this all made sense.. but this is just sort of a rant/cry for help. Maybe what i want is done by a simple checkbox in the options.. i just have yet to see it heh. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Enabling "Include network" (and, optionally, "Make folder") in mIRC Options -> IRC -> Logging should resolve this.

I am on #mIRC on multiple networks and it works fine here.
