I believe I've discovered a bug in mIRC... While attempting to use a firewall (that I could never connect to) I wanted to remove the firewall and just connect normally. However it will not let me do that. I reinstalled a fresh copy of mIRC and noticed that there is a "None" option under "Firewall Support" however after I set up the firewall it changed to "Both" (referring to server and dcc). But now the "None" option has dissapeared and I can't get it back and my mIRC will not connect because the firewall info is still there. Is this a bug or am I overlooking something? I'm on WinXP Pro using mIRC 6.03. Thanks!

its a known display bug (with several threads on the bugs forum here) on some Os's, but thanks. You will need to use your up/down arrow keys to see NONE.

As a side note, most users dont have the type of firewall that option is for, and need to leave it set to NONE

I see this is your first post here, welcome smile we have a handy search feature... but when you use it, i'd suggest always setting it to "all forums" and expand the date range to get the best results
