I was wonderin if someone can help me, When I try to logon to mirc I keep getting a no route to host message. I have a cable connection with no firewalls. Have no Idea what the problem might be. Help a fella out.

Have you tried different servers? Do you have a router? Connect through a LAN?

In the status window try typing:
/server b0rk.uk.quakenet.org
if that doesn't let you on try
/server 213.221.165.248

If neither of those works what error(s) do you get? (I know that that server is up).

Im sorry, I feel like an idiot. I have nortons running and there is a firewall on that program. Im sorry. I turned it off and it went through. Is there anyway to connect without turning it off?

Well the answer's yes, but it is slightly different depending on what version you have. This page is for Norton Personal Firewall 2002, look under the "Internet Access Control" heading.
