You can use /ignore -t (-t ignores CTCP messages which is used for version requests)
/help /ignore
Also, you should report this person to an IRCop since what they are doing is a form of DoS (Denial of Service) and is against most network policies.

go to your address book , the tab controle. select ignore , enable it. then click the add button. you will get a pop up tick ctcp in it and for the user add *!*@*

You'll ignore everyone's ctcps and that can be a problem later on. Just add that person's address. If the person uses different nicks and/or addresses, adjust how you add the nick/address as needed, but avoid *!*@*.

You just assumed the OP would like to ignore all CTCP's.

Even so, that is your preference while knowing what that will do if you someday need/want to receive a ctcp request from someone. Suggesting it to someone who may not know what that will do isn't a good idea. That person's likely to come back later and not have a clue why something that uses /ctcp won't work, such as one of the many games or bot scripts out there that use /ctcp. And the person's also unlikely to know that it's a ctcp thing at that point, so will be unlikely to provide the information necessary for anyone here to figure out the problem.

maybe just /nick new nick will help? or ask the person doing it why he doing it? mostley it's kiddies that do that type of stuff, and if you just ignore him he will stop, but if u get mad it's fun to keep on doing.
if ($me != tired) { return } | else { echo -a Get a pot of coffee now $+($me,.) }

The above /ignore command is quite sufficient, then you wont have to keep changing your nickname.

1. No you don't have to keep retyping it, it's there until you remove. 2. Any decent IRCop should deal with what he's doing accordingly, they may need logs and such though.
