Almost every time that I send a file to someone, i get these two things in my status screen:

§RIVMSG Unknown command
-
øIVMSG Unknown command

I'm not running any scripts... and not sure what could be causing it.

Also, sometimes it just disconnects me from the IRC server that I'm on... *shrug*

i agree... best take a look around in your remotes and i'd run a good virus scan as well if you find something you didnt know you had

I had that problem once, it was my router with ports blocked that caused both problems. Strange but true.

Interesting about the commonality... I have a router too, however most of my ports are forwarded to this computer, with the exception of the standard ftp/http stuff.

The weird thing is that it occurs when you send a file to someone, and it obviously tries to use the PRIVMSG raw command.... You sure it's a clean miRC install?

Yes it is a fresh install, infact, i reinstalled all of windows just a few days ago, and i still get that problem. Now though, whenever I do a dcc send of any sort, it stops my connection to the server. I'm behind a router, yet for testing purposes I forwarded all ports to the windows machine and it doesn't help.
