Hi all fellows,
this is my first post,i need some guidence so plz help,

i am using norton 2006 and mirc, problem is this, when i try to send
any file (DCC) suddenly norton message appear --block worm--
simply i could not send file or DCC.

SO ,
where is the problem, and what should i do ,
plz guide me briefly as u could,
i be rally thankfull.

(in mirc) tools/options/connect/options/advanced
first dcc port = 2000
last dcc port = 2009
tick use random port

try that , if your still getting it, then allow ports 2000-2009 to pass from the internet to your pc through the nortons firewall (im assuming its nortons internet security and not just antivirus)

shuit nortons down see if it goes away for a start

it might not have anything to do with it.

NO i said , shut nortons down and or uninstall it, and then see if the problem has gone away.

If its gone away then you know its in nortons, so reinstall it and search for the problem

if it has not gone away then reinstall it, and search for where the problem really is.
