Forums Connection Issues Can't DCC myself

Hi,

I can't DCC to another mIRC client using the same host.

On the sender side it timesout after 30seconds while on the receiver side it just shows this immediately:

(14:29:16) DCC Send of mirc.exe to trenz incomplete (00:00:01 0.00 KB/Sec)

I have already enabled DMZ. I can receive/send files properly to other people... I am using a Linksys WRT54G router using DD-WRT firmware.

Any ideas?

I don't know anything about that router, but there are some routers that cannot properly convert the Local IP with the Internet IP so that you can send something to yourself. If that is the case with your router, I am not sure how you would fix it without a new router. Maybe someone knows more about it.

doubt thats the problem though. i have no problems at all using a ftpd.

try /localinfo -h on the mirc that's sending to yourself (switch back to /localinfo -u to send to other people)
