I was on this server today. I have been there for about a year now.

I just reformetted my comp and reinstalled mirc. Tried to connect and forgot I needed ssl, so I got http://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-0.9.8d.tar.gz extracted it and ran the "instal" .exe in there. Oops. So I went and got http://www.shininglightpro.com/download/Win32OpenSSL-0_9_8d.exe ran that just fine.

Now the problem. Every time I connect to the server I go to I run into

Connect retry #1 ******.*****.** (+7001)
-
* Identd request from ***.***.***.**
* Identd replied: 1521, 7001 : USERID : UNIX : ******
-
* SSL error: invalid server certificate

(I put the * in)

I was just on it today. Did I mess something up by running that installer in the .tar file?

Any ideas? Thanks.

I did some searching around in here and found this

//echo -a SSL Ready- $sslready

I tried it, came back as true.

Arrg this is frustrating.
