Forums mIRC Help Unable to connect

When i try to get on a server it comes up (unable to connect to server ( connection refused.))Someon please help me i really need this fixed by tomorrow. I checked my firewall and it is allowing mIRC and i have an internet connection what else can i do to fix this?

It would help if you'd told us which server ws causing the problem.

Some networks have servers that are for administration access only, so you have to send a valid password while you connect, otherwise the connection is refused.

the Server is Chat.hanson.net. But i tryed some of the others and its the same thing

i still cannot access it. Is there something that i would need to check to see why it wouldn't be working only on my computer?

so i found another way to join tonights chat but would like to still figure out why Mirc is not working properly!!! My iTunes is also giving about the same message about the network connection but They are not being any help at all. So any suggestions or help thoughts at all would be helpful.
