I don't think this has been reported before, found nothing during my search.

I was copying and pasting an XHTML line to my friend:

Code:
		<meta content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv="Content-Type" />

(Indented by two tab spaces.)

Anywaes, when I was checking my debug window I saw.

Quote:

[13:56:56] -> Om<meta content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv="Content-Type" />

This seems to work for anything.

Quote:

[14:03:56!
[14:06:48] -> Omg!
[14:06:52] -> Omega.SE.E:o

One tab, two tabs, three tabs ...

*edit*

This was on mIRC v6.21 incidently.

I've also got my friend to reproduce this here.

What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?

thats likely the tabstop position of the debug window

See here this is the set behavour of windows created now.

I guess maybe we need some overrider in some windows or something like that, becuase if you dont know when the tab well appear you have nothing but problems, you cant just set a large tabstop like at 200, becuase then the line well appear blank as the text moves off to 'column' 200 and carries on from there.

Also the fact that this would mean u need to pre create your debug window as i dont think the debug line has any tabstop options frown
