Forums Developers Brilliant Idea, Need Bit Of Help If Anyone will.

Hi, I have an awsome game idea what i would like to code in mirc, I play a game where i got the idea from and thats in Mirc too. Is there any Advanced coders that could post their E-Mail or let me PM you with my idea (Its quite a big idea) and reply and try to tell me what parts of Mirc coding i would mainly need to know, and how i would go about doing certain things.

Please let me know ASAP.

If you are wanting to script a game yourself, then you need to be a pretty advanced scripter before even starting. Even fairly basic games will require at least a decent understanding of mIRC scripting. And I'm not sure anyone wants to write an entire game for you.

If you really wanted, you could post the basic idea and see if someone wanted to help with it. Something similar may even have been done before.

** Note that this should be in the scripting forum. The developer forum is for addons to mIRC and such, rather than just regular scripting projects.

thanks, yeh i know i would need to know alot of advanced codes and i didnt say write me a game at all mate.

i said if i tell my idea, would someone tell me what parts of mirc coding i would need to know for certain parts, and i will look it up and stuff. i dont want anyone to write it for me.

There are probably others you will need, but that's just off the top of my head and without knowing exactly what you're doing.
