Forums Connection Issues D-Link DSL-502T Modem, Cannot connect.

I have just connected to AAPT broadband using the D-Link DSL-502T modem. I can no longer connect to ssl secure irc servers (eg. ircssl.infomatrix.net:+7100).
I shutdown the broadband and connected through dial-up and was able to connect to the irc server.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this?
I've looked for information about ports, but everything I have found deals with dcc problems, not connection issues.
