Forums mIRC Help messages in queue

when somebody uses a flooder or does a mass join or mass part anything it seems to do with a huge amout of data flooding the so called "flood protection" dont help i set it up to 300 9999 9999 0 and i ticked show updates in window to see if i get the queue message below is the message

* Flood protection: 18 message(s) in queue

then it drops the messages little by little but in the time its dropping or the time the messages are still in queue i try and chat with people but they cant see what im typing only until after all the messages are out of queue, so i was wondering if theres some sort of fix i can get code wise or anything i can do can anybody help me thanks in advance. I have tried a bunch of ways to set the flood protection from default to just about anything.

p.s. all these problems started with 6.17 6.16 and below works great but i cant ready certin nicks without the unicode nicklist. lol.

There is a check Checkbox under Options -> IRC -> Flood for "Queue Own Messages"

Remove the Checkbox and it should work... also you can use /flood clear to clear the flood queue
