In the leading channels there, there is not much chatting going on though. But if you wanna test your new protection scripts, its the best place to go. All I saw in those channels, was kicking, banning, spamming, on join/on part messages, advertising etc etc. Man, mayhem! But it did work...

Like others posting to this thread i use dalenet on a regular basis and though there have been days that connecting was an issue, there is nothing happening on dalnet that I haven't had happen on any other net. things to consider: is your ISP a [CENSORED] piece of [CENSORED] that is having packet loss issues or just plain blows? are you using the right port (or did you even try other ports?) did you consider it might be a short term problem?

There is plenty of servers around to do what you need to do. If you would like to keep going there you should talk to the admins there on the network about it.
