Forums Connection Issues Banned from Angeleyez, i dont know why

okay today was the first time i have used Mirc, and i wan trying to get on angeleyez to go to a chat with friends of mine and while i was connectiona pop up cam up and said mirc must close due to unexpected error, when i got back on irc and tried to connect to angeleyez it said i was banned because of

The reason for the ban is in the message. Specifically
This means that you or someone else that was using the connection ID that you're currently using has been caught using an XDCC catcher, which is against the terms of usage for angeleyez.net.

The only thing you can do, is to contact them via the information on their webpage Angeleyez.net Contact Page , and try to convince the IRCops/administrators that it wasn't you.

wut is a xdcc catcher, i have no clue what that is, and also ty for your help

XDCC catcher is a popular script to use mIRC for downloading files, mostly illegal ones. A lot of networks have it banned.

There's nothing *we* can do here, as mIRC is just an IRC client and has nothing to do with the running of IRC servers/networks. You'll need to use the above linked contact page.

Actualy no... XDCC Catcher isn't a mIRC script. It is actualy like Bottler. It is coded in c++ or something like that and you don't need to have mIRC in order to connect to networks.

The reason, or at least on of the reason this application is being banned from irc network is because it creates a lot of connections to the server and floot channels and bots/users
