Forums Connection Issues Unable to connect (No Route to Host)

I have been able to connect to IRC b4 but now I am getting:

any ideas? Using Mirc 6.03 and a clean install

Try this webpage. It gives a list of active DALnet servers and is also updated frequently. You should be able to identify the obvious as active and not active.

The reason you couldn't connect is some servers may not be up and running due to some attacks on the network. I hope this is helpful.

I downloaded the recent servers.ini from www.mirc.com so is there a more updated list available anywhere?

No route to host usually means you aren't connected to the internet. Check your connection by seeing if you can open a web page then try again.

Due to recent major attacks, the server.ini for DALnet isnt accurate at this time. They also stopped allowing connections thru random, ie irc.dal.net. Check the website TheGame suggested for a list of linked servers at any given time. There are several now. You can use one of them by typing in your status window: /server puttheserverinfohere
