Forums mIRC Help Mirc crashes

I installed it and used it without problem the first time. But after I closed the program I keep having the same problem. When I connect to a server (anyone) the program crashes and I get the ^windows error msg^. Please help me, and excuse my english .

This is a Windows problem, not a mIRC problem. My recommendations are: A) Ensure that your version of Windows has all of the updates.
B) Your system has been fully scanned for viruses, trojans, & malware.
C) Your hard drive is defragmented.

Other than these things, I can't think of what else you can do.
