Forums mIRC Help USING MIRC TO CONNECT TO AIM AOL INSTANT MESSENGER

HEY GUYS I WAS JUST WONDERING IF THERE IS A WAY USING MIRC TO CONNECT TO AIM (AOL INSTANT MESSENGER) OR AOL'S CLIENT.

Please don't shout, it's considered rude

Type this in a window in mIRC and press enter
/run http://www.aim.com/

i did what u told me but all i got in return was /run: unable to open http://www.aim.com

The only time I've seen a message like that come up is when my ISP has been down, so I didn't have an active internet connection.

mIRC doesn't support AIM and as far as I know there is no add-on available either. I did take a quick look around for you to no avail.

I'm not too sure if we're able to help people to connect to AIM using mIRC, just like we're not able to help with MSN issues so I wont help...

And if you're an experienced scripter and know how sockets work then all you need is the host & port to connect and send other data. If not learn about them..
