Here you are a nice idea for next mirc versions !

Backgrounds for channel ( only founder can set the background for some channel ) example : picture of desert 640 x 480 in jpg format on channel #desert Or something like that nad user who joined the channel can see the background on his mirc channel

mIRC has no control over what other users of mIRC or other clients see. This isn't possible.

You can already control the channel window background for your own mIRC with the /background command, see /help /background.

This is impossible with the IRC protocol, unless each user has the picture on their computer already.

it's not _impossible_.. only unprobable.

i mean, it could be supported by every mirc client above 6.16 ..but that means no support for any users on any other clients. And.. it's not really worth the hassle of Khaled pissing off all the non mIRC clients with non-standard protocols

I mean, its just a background, come on. I think Yahoo IM has that feature, or AIM or something.. go use those

Like the picture on your MSN messanger.
Every one on the list can see the picture.

It will be great if someday we can to menage the channel picture :tongue:

Why don't you release your script that way everyone will have the same picture..

When the old picture get bored
You must release another script or mirc heheheh

There must be the easyest way to do that :P

Or you suggest people download the new image. Either way, they must download the image.

Anyhow, why force people to see your image?
