I very much like the DCC auto-accept feature found in mIRC, but I was wondering if maybe on the next version, you can make the auto-accept have options, so that you can say auto-accept from only this user or these users. I realize that mIRC is not a file transfer program, but sometimes it is used to download legal shareware. Sometiumes the downloads take a while and I need to go some place, so i would like to turn autoaccept on, but i am afraid of what someone might send me when i dont want them to

I like the idea. I went so far as to script this type of thing myself and while it's loosely based off of user levels, it works well smile

If I understand you correctly this already exists. Click on the [Trusted] button in ALT+O > DCC, and check the box at the top saying Limit auto-get to trusted users, then add the addresses of the people you want. Make sure you have Auto-Get enabled.

Do note, when adding nicknames, add them in the form nick!*@* otherwise it's treated as a user level.
