Hey my name is chris, and i'm having alot of trouble with my FSERVE...I can DCC get, but i can't dcc chat nor send. would anyone know what the problem is...i've done from the erasing the local info in the options to bridging my dsl modem..i have no router, just a dsl modem.. can anyone help, thanks!

Did you check your xp firewall?
Also possible your dsl modem
has built-in nat router, look in
the manual.

i have windows Me, i know it sucks don't tell me..but i like it it's never given me problems, it's fast and everything...i called sprint and the modem doesn't have any built in router..i don't know whatt to do, i'm stumped

You are simply not receiving incoming connections. If you can, check with another computer to rule out software that might be blocking incoming connections, and if the problem persists, then it's your ISP's fault.

You might also want to check that:

1. You're trying to receive files into a folder that actually exists. Options/DCC/Folders - pick a folder, don't type the path.

2. You aren't ignoring the file type you're trying to receive.

Your hard drive isn't full, is it?
