franknzupan F	I have a problem with the mIRC program. Everytime I boot the PC it launches and is very annoying. I have checked: 1. STARTUP FOLDER 2. REGISTRY 3. RAN MSCONFIG It is Windows 2000 Pro. I cannot even find the mIRC exe file to delete it and I cannot uninstall it. I guess is is not a Windows application. HELP!!! TIA, Frank

ParaBrat Hoopy frood P Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 3,015 BratLand	There are some trojans that cause this, see this thread which gives you some info and links to other threads and urls. Note that in some cases you will need to do some manual editing beyond what a virus remover will do. Its important that you remove ALL traces of the trojan.
