That depends on the network you use - do they have NickServ? If so, then you could try /nickserv set passWD oldpassword newpassword. However, that might not work, Services are unique to the network they work on. The best thing is to ask in the #help channel (or equivalent), or check out the network's website.
mIRC has nothing to do with the nickname registration.
