You can do almost anything you want with mIRCscript - you have sockets, custom windows, regex, COM objects, dialogs, and many more..
Why to add another scripting language? Ok, perl is faster. But why do you need such a speed in scripts for IRC CLIENT?
I don't see any other benefits.
