Also some networks support the /ircops command or something to that effect. Others support varied "/who"'s. Depending on the help you are seeking though the network help channel may be your best bet, as opers/admins are usually busy with network issues. If you need their assistance you may not get an immediate responce. So a little patients may be needed..
