Because I help a bit I find these
#DALnetHelp language popups useful. Obviously you can replace the channel name with whatever channels help in those languages, the channel name is the only network-specific thing in those lines.
It's a little hard to suggest what is "good" as that is a little subjective - what I find good might not be the same as what you do. You could probably search a site such as
mircscripts.org for some popups that control Services and the like.
By the way, you cannot use /notify -sr nickname - it will simply add "-sr" to the notify list.
