I really don't understand what your question is, but I think you are asking if networks are required to give out your real IP address if asked about illegal activities. I cannot speak for the networks, or the legal issues, but I DO know that even though your IP is masked, if you take part in a DCC Chat or a DCC transfer the person on the other ehd of the DCC connection automatically gets your IP address (unmasked). Kinda makes masking a moot point, don't it?
