The firewall is there...although at this time, I am using Windows 98 on a different computer for my PC is being shipped from another state at this time, I believe you can locate the firewall in your connection properties under the "Advanced" tab. Just check or uncheck the option that says whether or not to disable the firewall. Someone may wanna double check that though. Hope this is helpful in some way or another.
