I'm at a loss; for years i used mIRC in conjunction with AOL, but nevertheless, I connected to Dalnet, no problems, ever, (well, save during the denial of service attack.)
Then, as of march 30th, connection became impossible. The messge I receive is
Unable to connect to server (connection timed out)
ad infinitum
My MIRC is version 6.12.
I can manage to connect to IRC via other servers (e.g., undernet, but unfortunately it's dalnet I want...)
What the devil could have happened to create this impasse all of a sudden?
I'm at a loss; there are no firewalls active, identd seems not to be a problem, and for the luvva god, please help!
