Ah Blinking the icon... well this is what the help says about that.
- Blink icons
Blinks the icon in switchbar buttons for query/chat windows if there's a message/highlight event, or a flash event.
From
versions.txt- Blink feature now only blinks icons for query/chat windows, and
on channels or the message window only if a highlight event was
triggered.
Not for custom @windows
