Whenever I'm talking to someone in query sometimes they leave and I'm still bothering to type something long to them. I'd like to be able to see almost immediately if they quit.
So if mIRC could keep a temporary tab on people I have in query, that would be cool.
It wouldn't even have to use the notify command to keep track... it could monitor the channels for their quit.
Another idea, a feature that would make query and DCC windows close after a certain amount of time if they became inactive.
I realise there is a way to script both of these things, but let's face the fact that not everyone is as good at scripting as you. I suck at scripting.
Edit: An example of my first idea would be:
[23:41] <John> grr, my computer is lagging
[23:42] * John has left IRC
[23:45] * John has joined IRC
Sorta like putting a temporary notify in your query window.
