Until this DCC exploit, I've been using mIRC 6.03. When I set a channel's font to MS UI Gothic, Japanese script, it would display japanese characters just fine. When I upgraded to 6.12, the characters would not display correctly, despite font selection, JIS/SJIS conversion options, etc. The only text that will show up fine is what I myself type.
Did mIRC lose the ability to correctly display these characters? Are there other options I need to set now? I'd rather not have to run my machine in a non-english locale, and would like to avoid running mIRC through AppLocale if possible.
