Really...all this ranting, you would think this was some kind of democracy.
Khaled is under
no obligation to meet your demands, he does so of his own free will. Maybe he will, maybe he won't. I doubt he will, and quite rightly.
All of you who have been incessantly whining about 6.1x have been incredibly rude to someone who has been working on a program, pretty much voluntarily, for 10 years. After
a decade he is making it a
tiny bit more annoying for non-registered users, oh, and of course, one of the grips doesn't work

*faints* - Ahh, nearly forgot the obscure little scripting bugs that people who just want to chat don't even notice

A little respect for someone who has been working so hard, along with his colleagues who help him tremendously (see /help acknowledgements whilst in mIRC) wouldn't go a miss.
Speaking of not being under obligations, you're under
no obligation to use such a terrible program...it looks to me half the time that people are just looking for arguments and a reason to complain. I wonder if ANY of you have put yourself in his/their shoes, and how you might feel. Of course, next we'll have a bunch of people saying, "Well then he should do something about it if he feels so bad, that's what I would do." - if that's what you're thinking, go back to the start of this post.
Oh, and what next I hear? "Everyone is entitled to their opinion." - Ok, I'll go ranting on about how brilliant September 11th was, shall I? If I did that (which I'm not going to of course, it is
just an example), you'd all be going off your rocker - the post would probably be closed, and deleted.
None of you would like being treated like this, especially as such hard work is put into it. Pure hypocracy.
Regards,
