If you type "//say blah $crlf bleh", you are actually sending two messages (commands) to the server; but mIRC will display $crlf and the part after it, in the Channel/Query window as if it were part of the message.

With some (if not most) servers even $cr alone is enough to end a message (command). This makes it a little bit more complicated, and maybe mIRC should not only stop printing $crlf and everything after it as a channel message, but $cr and everything after it too.

Also, this could be added as an option to prevent it from becoming annoying for some users.
