Sounds as though you have an unwanted version of mIRC running on your computer (virus, trojan, etc). You may want to run (if you have one) your virus scanner with the latest patches and defintions. Search feature, expand the forum to "all forums", date range to "all posts" and type "virus". You should get numerous results on this issue.
